The set-up of a global infrastructure and the disclosure of geo-information is only possible through funds from donors. Please do support our work. We accept monetary donations. Also one-time donations are welcome. In particular at this moment in time, since we are still in the process of acquiring Netherlands' Government funding for the actual world-wide implementation of UNSDI. For those looking for a longer-term commitment we will find an approach that suits your needs.

100% of your monetary donation is spent on the fundamentals of our work: getting the UNSDI Geospatial Data Warehouse (GDW) up and running, which should make geo-information available and accessible for the World Community. Also the software building blocks of this GDW will be made available in open source, so it can be used for creating inter-operable National GDW's as part of National Spatial Data Infrastructures.

But most important, when UNSDI is in place we will focus on the LOCAL USE of the data, relying on the knowledge and skills of our partners, to assist in resolving the real issues we'll have to deal with on this planet, and put main efforts in capacity building and institutional strengthening.
