The UNSDI-NCO GeoNetwork portal provides Internet access to maps, GIS-data, satellite remote sensing imagery and related geographic datasets. It's purpose is to improve access to and integrated use of spatial data and information. You can find the portal at http://www.geonetwork.nl! Add this address to your favorites list!

The high-performance portal is powered by GeoNetwork and hosted by the National Aerospace Laboratory (NLR) of the Netherlands.

The UNSDI-NCO database contains at this moment over 17.800 metadata sets!! These sets describe the spatial data, show thumbnails of the products and contain links for downloading or ordering of the data. The data is delivered by over 20 United Nations organizations and associated institutes.

Presently we are developing a new GeoNetwork portal, based on release 2.6.4. To be released in Q2 of 2012...

Atention! The UN-OCHA GeoNetwork portal is no longer operational! This means you can not download any OCHA data through our GeoNetwork portal. You may want to visit http://cod.humanitarianresponse.info/ instead.
